My mom sent me this link this morning. It’s a website of the house my grandmother used to own. I guess it was renovated recently and is now for sale. I spent most of my early childhood — 70’s and early 80’s — in this Lakewood, Ohio home.
It’s amazing to see it renovated. It doesn’t look like the same place. The windows have been replaced. The blue carpet has been replaced with hardwood. There is nothing left of the original kitchen. Same with the bathroom. Fans have been installed everywhere. The porch used to be screened in; now it’s open. The yard used to have more trees. The exterior color is different, too.
It’s much nicer now. I’m glad to see someone took really good care of it.
I love Lakewood! I lived across the way in Parma for a while and almost moved to Lakewood. Cute house :)
